Montgomery Museum plans "Military Night" in August

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts will hold Military Open House on Thursday, Aug. 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

All active, reserve and retired military members are invited to participate in a family friendly event dedicated to the Maxwell and Gunter communities.

Guests can enjoy art-making activities, a buffet dinner, and entertainment by Maxx Brass.

Experts will be stationed at the exhibits to answer questions about two of the museum's major shows:  "Objects of Wonder: Four Centuries of Still Life from the Norton Museum of Art"  and "Yousuf Karsh: Portraits of Greatness to answer any questions you might have."
