Trenholm State students leave for competition

Posted by: Mario Hendricks - bio | email

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Trenholm State is proving once again its students are among the best and brightest.

Eleven students left Montgomery to compete in the 46th annual national leadership and skills conference.

They'll be tested with written and hands-on elements.

"We get the experience most of all, the chance to prove that we are capable and show what the students here at Trenholm state are capable of... And what our instructors do for us," said Trenholm State Tech senior Sidney Lacey.

The students are competing for scholarship monies, and of course, the competition looks great on a resume.
