Team 12 Coverage Tonight: The Duel in the Desert

Monday
January 10, 2011

Good afternoon!

It may be cold and gray in Alabama but in Arizona, the Auburn spirit is shining bright. Join us tonight at 5:00 and 6:00 for live Team 12 Coverage of the Duel in the Desert. We'll take you to Glendale for today's big pep rally and a preview of tonight's BCS National Championship Game. We'll also show you the latest game preparations here at home.

Then, after tonight's game, switch back to WSFA 12 News for more live coverage, including fan reaction around Alabama.

The winter weather is the other big story we're following. Thankfully, the ice has melted and the rain is gone. But be careful tomorrow morning. It's possible the water on the roads could refreeze overnight.

Get your extended Doppler 12 StormVision forecast tonight at 5:00 and 6:00.

More than half of the 17 people killed when a tourist boat sank on a Branson lake were members of the same Indiana family, and they likely wouldn't have been on the ill-fated trip but for a ticket mix-up.
