Suspect arrested for the shooting of pregnant woman

TROY, AL. (WSFA) - Troy police have made an arrest in connection with Thursday's shooting of an 28 year old pregnant woman.

Investigators say 17 year old Javontrex Boykin shot Jennifer Griffin twice, she survived but her unborn child died.

Boykins is in jail without bond, and is charged with capital murder and assault.
