House suffers fire damage in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A fire leaves a Montgomery home with heavy damage.

Flames were seen shooting from the roof of a home on Capstone Drive in the Vaughn Meadows neighborhood before firefighters arrived on the scene.

A neighbor, Bill Johnson who snapped pictures of the fire, says he noticed the flames as he was backing out of his driveway. He had another neighbor dial 9-1-1.

Fire officials are investigating the fire. They right now the cause is unknown.
