Scholar to speak about Old Federal Road on July 25

The Old Federal Road is the topic of the Butler County Historical and Genealogical Society's next program on Sunday, July 25, 2:00 p.m. at Greenville City Hall.

The speaker will be Dr. Gregory Waselkov, Director of the Center for Archaeological Studies at the University of South Alabama, who is retracing the actual route of the Old Federal Road.

Dr. Waselkov is interested in talking to people who can share information on local portions of the Federal Road. Anyone unable to attend the meeting is encouraged to contact him at
