Dothan, AL (WSFA) - A Dothan man has died from an apparent drowning.
Police were called a home at 110 Camellia Drive around 9:00 Thursday morning.
The homeowners found 52-year-old David Patton face down in their pool.
Patton lived a couple houses down and had been at the home Wednesday night swimming with the homeowners.
He was last seen alive around 9:00 PM that night.
Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd said it appears that Patton drowned late Wednesday night.
When he examined the body Thursday morning, he said Patton had been dead for several hours.
An autopsy is being done to determine if drowning was the cause of death.
