Associated Press - July 31, 2010 5:54 PM ET TALLADEGA, Ala. (AP) - Three teenagers have been killed in a one-vehicle crash in Talladega County.
State troopers said 19-year-old Jessica Renae Garrett, 19-year-old Jontavious Terrell Garrett and 19-year-old Latishia Lawson were killed in the accident at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday on Glover's Ferry Road about four miles north of Alpine. Troopers said the three teenagers who died were passengers in a 1993 Cadillac Eldorado and were ejected when the car left the road and overturned.
Troopers said the driver, 20-year-old Marqueshia Roberson and her 17-year-old sister, Sharonda Roberson, were injured in the accident.
Troopers said the victims of the accident were not wearing seat belts.
