Dothan Airport evacuated after powder scare

DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) - Authorities in Dothan say the discovery of a white powder at the Dothan Airport forced an evacuation Monday morning.

Hazardous Materials units were called in around 8:30am to test the material, which came back negative for any substance that might be dangerous.

The airport was closed for about two hours while the tests were conducted.

It reopened around 10:30am.
