Man stunned, arrested after chase through WalMart

VALLEY, Ala. (AP) - Police chased a man up and down the aisles inside a Walmart store in Valley after the man had run away from paramedics.

Valley police told television station WTVM they were called to the WalMart at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday by paramedics who said they were trying to calm a combative patient in front of the store.

Police said the man allegedly assaulted a paramedic and ran into the store. Officers chased the man down several aisles inside the store before officers stunned him with a Taser.

25-year-old Terrell Glasco of Lanett was charged with two counts of assault, resisting arrest, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
