Prattville Christian teacher is a Class Act

Posted by: Judd Davis - bio | email

Prattville, AL (WSFA) -  It's her first year at a new school, and she couldn't be happier. Michelle Thompson teaches math and history at Prattville Christian Academy and she's this week's Class Act.

Thompson has spent the last 12 years in the classroom.  She says sixth grade is the perfect fit.  "I think about them all the time," Thompson said.   "I wake up wondering how they are doing.  If they miss something I'll pull them aside and make sure they get it.  I've always told them it's not about the grade, we are here to learn something."

Ms. Thompson admits she learns from them too.  She says they make a great team.  Congratulations Ms. Michelle Thompson you're this week's Class Act.
