ALEX CITY, AL (WSFA) - A Montgomery man being held in connection to Tuesday's Alexander City robbery case is now charged with robbing a second bank.
Investigators in Clanton say Kenton Hall, 31, is charged with Robbery 1st in a case they're working in Chilton County.
Hall remains in custody in Tallapoosa County for the Lee Street Aliant Bank robbery. The suspect was apprehended in large wooded area on Highway 259 after crashing an SUV.
Investigator say Hall approached the bank teller and demanded money before jumping into the SUV that sped off toward Hwy. 22 and Hwy 259.
The Alexander City Police Department was assisted by the Alabama State Troopers, Coosa County S.O., Elmore County S.O., Kilby Corrections Facility, Russell Lands, Tallapoosa County S.O. and the Alabama Dept. of Agriculture in the search.
Clanton authorities say even though Hall is still in another jurisdiction, he's got a $500,000 bond waiting on him in Chilton County when warrants can be served on him.
