TROY, AL - Here's your look at Troy University sports in focus.

The confines of Veterans Memorial Stadium proved to be friendly once again for the Troy Trojans in the opening week of the 2010, but the Trojans will suit up in their road uniforms this weekend against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

The Troy University volleyball team will head south to Jacksonville, Florida this weekend to participate in the Best Western Invitational, hosted by the University of North Florida.  This tournament is the third that Troy has competed in this season, and features Charleston Southern, Chattanooga, University of Illinois-Chicago, North Florida and Troy

The Troy Trojans cross country teams will be competing, for the second week in a row, at the Georgia State Invitational in Hampton, Georgia.  The race will actually begin on Friday instead of the normal Saturday cross country schedule.  The women will be running at 3:00 in a 5K and the men will be running at 3:40 in an 8K.

Troy University released the 2010-11 women's basketball schedule that features four teams who made the NCAA Tournament last season, two others who qualified for the WNIT and one other who played in the WBI postseason tournament. The schedule also features 10 non-conference road games, and two contests inside Sartain Hall against in-state competition.
