He ran for 48 yards on his first carry of the season and had a 50-yard run later in the first quarter on his third rush to reach the century mark on three carries. Helping to clear the way for Ingram and for the Alabama offense to total 626 yards on the day was Chance Warmack. Wide receivers Julio Jones and Darius Hanks were also recognized on offense. Jones led all receivers with five catches for 106 yards and one touchdown while Hanks was second on the list with three grabs for 52 yards, including a diving TD catch that was the first score of the game.

Defensively, linebackers Dont'a Hightower and Nico Johnson were mentioned as players of the week by the coaching staff. Hightower led the defense with eight total tackles (five solo) and is first on the team through three games with 16 stops on the season. Johnson followed Hightower on the stat sheet as he was credited with six tackles (four solo) and 0.5 tackles for loss. Alabama's defense currently ranks second nationally in scoring defense (6.3 ppg) and ninth in total defense (253.3 ypg).

Trent Richardson and Wes Neighbors had the most significant contributions on special teams. Richardson returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown and finished the game with 184 all-purpose yards.
