KNOXVILLE, TN. (WSFA) - Following a stunning victory over Troy last week, UAB rallied from a 23-7 halftime deficit to take UT to double overtime.

UAB was able to convert on a two-point attempt which tied the game in the fourth quarter at 23-23.

In overtime both teams failed to move the ball and settled for field goals, forcing the second overtime.

The Blazers were able to move the ball but ultimately had to settle for a 21 yard field goal by kicker Josh Zahn giving UAB a 29-26 advantage. The ensuing possession for Tennessee resulted in a 25 yard touchdown bomb to Deneraius Moore, giving UT the victory 32-29.

UAB quarterback Bryan Ellis completed back- to- back games with over 300 yards passing.
