Troy thunders past Arkansas State

TROY, AL- The Trojans rallied in the rain Saturday for a last-second win over Arkansas State.

The Trojans had a 14-point lead before a 103-minute lightning delay halted the game's momentum. But after the long break, the Red Wolves made a comeback, which included Ryan Aplin's 30-yard pass to Allen Muse.

The Trojans were behind 28-27 with 22 seconds remaining in the final quarter. Troy quarterback Corey Robinson pitched a lofty pass to running back Shawn Southward, who made a back-peddling catch in the end zone, sealing a victory for the Trojans.

The Trojans are now 2-2, 1-0 Sun Belt.
