Tide and Tigers soccer hit the road for SEC play

Montgomery, AL- Soccer teams for the Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers will both be playing on the road this weekend.

The Alabama soccer team (7-2-0, 2-0-0 SEC) will head to Baton Rouge, La., to face LSU (3-5-2, 0-1-1 SEC) on Friday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m., at the LSU Soccer Complex. The Crimson Tide opened league play by sweeping its two matches while the Tigers fell to Georgia in the opener and played Tennessee to a draw.

Auburn hits the road for its first two away Southeastern Conference matches of the season as it travels to Arkansas and LSU this weekend. Auburn (7-3-0, 1-1-0 SEC) and Arkansas
(3-5-2, 0-1-1 SEC) will meet at 7pm on Friday in Fayetteville, Ark., before Auburn hits Baton Rouge, La., for a 1pm match on Sunday.
