NORTH COLLEGE HILL, OH (WXIX-TV) - Police who were looking for a 6-year-old girl who was abducted from her elementary school in Ohio say they've located the girl safe in Alabama.
The girls mother, the suspect, is from Alabama but it's not known exactly from where in Alabama the woman is from or from where the police located the child.
Police say Sierra Amber Nicole Holley, 6, was taken from North College Hill Elementary in Cinncinatti just before 9 a.m. by Angela Holley, who does not have custody of the child.
Holley wore a gray and tan jacket and a reddish-orange shoulder-length wig that police say she was using as a disguise when she walked out of the school with the little girl.
Police say Sierra's stepfather has had custody of the child for five years and her mother did not have permission to pick her up from school.
Investigators found the child in her mother's company. The girl was immediately taken into protective custody. Charges are pending against Angela Holley.
