Nearly week passes without sign of missing man with Alzheimer's

PINE HILL, AL (WSFA) - "It's like the man vanished into thin air," says Pine Hill police investigator Jim Mundie. Nearly a week has gone by since a Wilcox County man who has Alzheimer disease disappeared and there are no new leads.

George Mason, 85, was last seen Wednesday, October 6 around 3pm on the North Fork railroad tracks approximately half a mile from his home on Sandpit Road.

Anyone who knows where investigators can find Mason are asked to please contact Investigator Mundie at 334-456-1046 or the Pine Hill police at 956-4351.

Mason is 5-foot-10 and 140 pounds.
