Alabama man charged with killing boss after being fired

BIBB COUNTY,  AL (WBRC) – The Bibb County District Attorney's Office says a man has been taken into custody after he allegedly killed his supervisor after he was terminated from his job.

According to officials at the D.A.'s office, a worker for a construction company that was working on building a new building for the Bibb County Board of Education was fired around 8:30 a.m. on Friday morning. The worker reportedly returned to the site with a firearm and shot and killed his supervisor.

The suspect has been taken into custody. His name has not been released.

    The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran away from the scene of a deadly crash in George County. Three children were killed in the crash. Troopers said a green 2003 Kia Optima was heading east on Highway 198, east of Depot Road, shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
