Creamy crab and shrimp wontons

Recipe shared by Nori Kelley of California

1 pkg. cream cheese (softened)
3 green onions, chopped
1/4 C. seasoned bread crumbs
1 pkg. imitation crab meat, roughly chopped
24 lg. cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg. of wonton wrappers (squares)
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Mini muffin pan

Mix the cream cheese, green onions, bread crumbs and imitation crab together. Add salt and pepper to taste. Spray mini muffin pan with cooking spray, and push in 1 wonton wrapper to form a cup (edges will stick out). Add a small teaspoonful of cream cheese mixture into cup and top with 1 shrimp and a small pinch of shredded cheese. Put in oven at 350 degrees. Take out of oven when cream cheese mixture has melted and wonton wrapper has slightly browned. Makes 24.

In Italian, the word "gelato" means "frozen" more than it means "ice cream." So, for as much as we have heard that gelato is the Italian equivalent of ice cream, this "gelato" is really a frozen mousse

So, for as much as we have heard that gelato is the Italian equivalent of ice cream, this "gelato" is really a frozen mousse of a dessert. Quick and easy, with no ice cream maker needed, this dessert may be served as a chilled mousse or frozen completely as a "gelato."

Celebrate warm weather with nature's sweet berries. Simply served with a light dusting of powdered sugar, this dessert is not a sugar overload, because it relies on the natural sweetness of in-season berries.

Here is smoky and slightly spicy twist on fried catfish. Instead of coating the catfish in a thick beer batter, I marinate the raw pieces in beer before seasoning them and lightly dredging them in flour
