Spectators proudly waved the red white and blue.  The festivities were a way to say thank you to the men and women who have served our country.  Vets in attendance said the event meant a lot.

After the parade, the salute to our veterans continued at Montgomery's Riverfront.  The Governor, Mayor and military dignitaries all spoke at the event.  The festivities wrapped up with a free concert by the 151st Army Band.
