MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - "I mean, I was pretty much in shock," says Joe Wolfson.

He remembers the night of the shooting.

"I'm still a little in shock that it happened...you don't expect that," he adds.

He was coming home late from work when police told him he had to park off the property until the crime scene was cleared.

Police say Carkevian Dean, Shakur Young, and Cytrus Rudolph tried to rob Stephen Williams then shot him in the chest.

Wolfson never expected it to happen where he lives. News of the arrests is comforting.

"It feels a lot better knowing people who would do something terrible like that aren't around anymore," says Wolfson.

Right now, all three suspects are charged with capital murder. They are being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility with no bond.

Wolfson says the incident changed his habits.

"I don't park where I used to, and go into an area that's not as dimly lit," he says.

Now, he and others are just thankful things are back to normal.
