The Montgomery Humane Shelter is bursting at the seams with cats. An elderly couple in Thomasville became overwhelmed with the animals, after a few years of rescuing them. They had 45 cats and kittens in all.
The coupled lives in a county where animal control isn't present. They called the Humane Society of the United States, who contacted the Montgomery shelter.
All of the animals seemed to be in good health and should be up for adoption soon.
