Inside Alabama's Legislature: Hubbard sworn in

Montgomery's newest state representative sworn in today as the state supreme court.  Democrat Joe Hubbard was sworn in using the same bible his great grandfather, Lister Hill used when he was sworn in to Congress back in 1932.

Hubbard described how he'll approach the budget process.  "I'm not a proponent of going in and slashing things for the sake, you know, of slashing them or to score political points to be reactionary.  You've got to go through those budgets and find out how do we best fund our priorities as a state," says Hubbard.

Hubbard beat republican incumbent David Grimes for the house seat.
