Montgomery announces new youth basketball league

MONTGOMERY, AL - The community centers of the City of Montgomery announced the creation of a new youth basketball league Tuesday. The purpose of this league is to provide an affordable and convenient opportunity for youth to participate in a basketball league.

League Information:

Teams will be broken down as follows: 7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11 & 12, and 13 & 14 (at some locations).
Cost to play will be $20.00, but NO children will be turned away due to cost. Centers will work with families that cannot afford this cost for their children to play. The tentative deadline for registration is December 10, 2010.

The season will begin in January 2011 and will end in March 2011. Transportation will be provided to and from away games. Parents can get more information or register their children at the following locations:
