Auburn fans roll Toomer's Corner after Iron Bowl win

AUBURN, AL (WSFA) - "Said it's great to be an Auburn Tiger, said it's great to be an Auburn Tiger!"

Underneath what looks like a winter wonderland, are Auburn fans celebrating an undefeated season and a huge comeback against the Alabama Crimson Tide with the traditional toilet paper paradise at Toomer's Corner.

"We were worried, but when you got Cam, you just never know what's going to happen, and it's just a great Auburn victory, a great comeback. War eagle!" says fan, Jimmy Pool.

"When we scored seven, I said don't give up Auburn, don't give up on this guys, because they've done it all year," says fan, Regina Whitehead.

And even amidst the hoots and hollers, some Alabama fans got a dose of healthy rivalry in opponent territory.

Fans could hardly contain themselves knowing this win could secure a trip to the national championship. But not only that, they say it also proves Cam Newton should win a Heisman trophy.

"This game won Cam Newton the Heisman," says Whitehead.

Auburn Athletic Director Jay Jacobs hopes the win puts recent allegations against Cam Newton to rest.

"They've had to overcome a lot of different things. And it just goes to show, we're playing the toughest league in the nation, got the number one player in the nation, got the number one coach in the nation."

It was a night all Auburn as fans keep their eye on the prize, hoping for a first-ever national championship for their Tigers.
