ENTERPRISE, AL (WSFA) - The ride home from school was bumpy for many students aboard a bus in Enterprise Tuesday and the bumpiness had nothing to do with the road.

An unidentified 5th grader told several fellow riders that he had a gun with him according to Captain Michael Lolley of the Enterprise Police Department.

The students told the bus drive what the boy had admitted to him and police were called.

Police responded at approximately 3:15pm and determined the child was not in possession of a gun or any other weapon. All children were safely transported to their homes.

It was not immediately known what disciplinary actions the child faces, if any.
