SELMA, AL (WSFA) - A Dallas County court found a man guilty on three counts of Capital Murder Wednesday in relation to the 2005 murders of two people.

Thurston Baynes was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole for the killings of Phillippe Coleman and Earnest Harrell. The men died during a robbery.

Baynes is the second person to be convicted in this incident. He joins Johnson Woods, who was convicted in 2007 on Conspiracy to Commit Murder. He is serving 31 years in prison.

"I'm very pleased with the verdict in this case," said Assistant District Attorney Jim Ransom. "This case was a long time coming to an end, but was the result of continued efforts by District Attorney Michael Jackson's office..."
