Troy wins national marketing awards

TROY (WSFA) - Troy University's marketing efforts have been honored with eight MarCom Awards from The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.

The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals' MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing professionals from individual communicators to media conglomerates, Fortune 500 companies and national public relations organizations. Roughly 5,000 entries were judged; only 15 percent took home platinum awards like Troy.

"This yet again is proof that Troy University is sharing its story in new and unique ways and doing so by setting a standard for others to achieve," said Dr. John Schmidt, Senior Vice Chancellor for Advancement and External Relations. "We are pleased to be recognized in this manner and we commend our marketing and communication team for a job well done."

"Troy University: A Decade of Distinction," the University's 10-year report earned platinum honors in both design and educational institution categories, while its "Building Beyond Boundaries" video and "Troy University Video" earned platinum awards in video fund raiser and educational institution categories.
