"Run Against Crime" taking place prior to New Orleans Bowl

NEW ORLEANS, LA - Those fans looking for something to do on the day of the game in New Orleans will have a chance to participate in the "Run Against Crime" on Saturday, December 18.  The "Race Against Crime" is in Partnership with the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

The run will take place at the intersection of Fulton and Lafayette Streets (walking distance from New Orleans Bowl team hotels).  Registration for the run begins at 8 am, with the race beginning at 9 am.

Medallions will be given to the top runners and two (2) VIP tickets to the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl VIP Party.  Winners will be announced at the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

All runners receive a FREE Commemorative t-shirt, and a FREE pre-game concert outside the Superdome.

The bands of both of the institutions involved in the game will be playing at the 5K run.

Proceeds benefit the New Orleans Police Districts.
