New Stillman College football coach charged with DUI

TUSCALOOSA — Authorities say Stillman College's new head football coach has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Alabama State Troopers say they arrested 34-year-old Teddy Keaton about 1:30 a.m. Saturday. He was released from the Tuscaloosa County Jail on $1,000 bail later that day.

Alabama Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Robyn Litchfield said Monday that a report by the arresting troopers will be available in the next few days. Stillman spokeswoman Veronica Clark said the school is handling the matter internally.

Keaton was hired as the college's head football coach two weeks ago.
