Preparing for Severe Weather

April 27, 2011

Wednesday

Good Morning!

WSFA Stormvision Meteorologist Josh Johnson is monitoring a line of severe storms this morning that could produce tornadoes. This same storm system has already caused damage and claimed lives in the Midwest.

There are already some businesses and schools taking early precautions and closing early. For a complete list of them, check out the red box at the top of the home page on www.wsfa.com.

There's an update this morning on the Auburn student who died while she was away with her friends on a Spring Break trip in Panama City Beach, Florida. We'll have the autopsy results on Today in Alabama.

And you can hear what Country Crossing developer Ronnie Gilley had to say when he was released from jail Tuesday morning. He's out until November when he'll be sentenced after pleaded guilty to 11 counts related to a vote-buying scheme.

We have these stories and breaking news as it happens, so tune in to WSFA 12 News and put down the remote!

Have a great day!
