Auburn High School responds to lawsuit

AUBURN, AL (WSFA) - Auburn High School leaders respond tonight to a lawsuit over hair braids and discrimination.

Blaise Taylor, son of Auburn University football coach Trooper Taylor, is suing the school claiming discrimination because coach Frank Tolbert won't let him play until he changes his hair.

Auburn city schools are supporting coach Tolbert and his grooming policy which he's had in place for several years.

The case is moving forward.

A hearing is set for Tuesday at the Federal Courthouse in Montgomery.
