AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - Just moments after Auburn's win early Tuesday morning, fans rolled out into the streets to roll their favorite corner. All of the action was captured live on Auburn's newly installed HD web cams.

The City of Auburn installed a new HD web camera overlooking one of Auburn's most recognizable landmarks, Toomer's Corner.

Hundreds of Auburn football fans from all over the world regularly view the web camera following each football win to witness the rolling of the Toomer's Oaks.

The upgraded camera comes just in time for Auburn to compete in the BCS National Championship game to be held on Monday, January 10th in Glendale, Arizona.

Not only did the City upgrade the camera, but also the viewing bandwidth in order that thousands of simultaneous viewers can be accomodated.

The high definition equipment is expected to provide a reliable, clear view of Toomer's Corner, 24-hours a day.
