Auburn Sets Up Jim Fyffe Fund

Auburn University is honoring the late Jim Fyffe, the long-time sports broadcaster who became known as the "Voice" of the Tigers.

The University, with the help of the Auburn Network and Fyffe's widow, Rose, is establishing The Jim Fyffe Diabetes Research Fund. Fyffe suffered from diabetes and died Of a brain aneurysm in May. Auburn is also raising funds for diabetes research with audio C-Ds and D-V-D videos highlighting his career.

The University plans a special half-time tribute to Fyffe during the August 30th game with the University of Southern California at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
