MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The inauguration for incoming Gov. Robert Bentley gets under way with a parade that features about 90 units from throughout the state.

The parade starts along Montgomery's Dexter Avenue at 9:45 a.m. Monday. Bentley and other constitutional officers will take their oaths of office on the state Capitol steps after the parade.

The new governor says he wants his inauguration to be a celebration of all that's good about the state and that's why he has planned a family friendly event at Montgomery's baseball stadium starting at 2 p.m. with free food, music, inflatables for children and photos. It will conclude at 5 p.m. with fireworks.

The inauguration wrap up with a ball at 7 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel.
