A South Carolina sheriff says two suspects sought in the shooting death of a security guard at a business in Lexington County, South Carolina are behind bars in Monroe County.
Sheriff James Metts said 25 year old Theodore Davis, Jr. and 29 year old Ron O'Neal Finklea were arrested Wednesday evening. Metts said he had no other details about the arrest. The pair were wanted in the weekend shooting death of 56 year old Walter Sykes, Sr. at the Selectron plant near Springdale, South Carolina.
A coroner says Sykes died after being shot in the neck and head. Authorities also said the suspects set Sykes on fire after shooting him. Extradition proceedings have begun to return the men to South Carolina.
