No. 2 AUM defeats Georgetown College, 6-3

MONTGOMERY, Ala. ---- The No. 2 Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team defeated Georgetown College, 6-3, on Thursday at the AUM Tennis Complex.

With the win, the Lady Senators improved to 7-1 on the season, while the Lady Tigers fell to 0-4 overall.

In doubles, AUM earned points at the top two positions, as junior Ana Veselinovic and sophomore Morgane Zowczak rolled 8-0 at the No. 1 spot and junior Kveta Hajkova and sophomore Alina Tseplukhova cruised 8-1 at the two spot.

In singles, the Lady Senators dropped just seven games in their four matches, as they completed the victory.

The Lady Senators will return to action on Friday, when they take on Campbellsville University at 2 p.m., in the opening round of the AUM Spring Invitational at Lagoon Park.
