Auburn women's tennis set for Saturday doubleheader

AUBURN, Ala. – After a tough road trip, the Auburn's women's tennis team
will return home Saturday to take on No. 68 Boston University and
in-state rival Troy. Auburn is 2-11 on the season and will look to
bounce back from losses against nationally-ranked South Carolina and

Boston University is 8-4 and currently ranked 68th in the nation. The
Terriers are coming off two wins against Buffalo and South Alabama, in
Miami, Fla. BU will field the No. 76 double's team of Vivien Laszloffy
and Stefanie Nunic. In singles the Terriers will be lead by Laszloffy
and Nunic and freshman Leonie-Charlotte Athanasiadis.

Troy is currently 5–10 on the season, with a 0-2 record against SEC
opponents. Similar to Boston University, the Trojans are coming off two
losses in Miami, Fla., and will be looking to get back on track at
Auburn. Troy will look for Sophomore Karoline Grymel and Senior Leonie
Guijt to lead the team after winning their last five matches.

Last week was tough for Auburn with a pair of SEC losses. The Tigers
dropped a close 4-3 match at No. 44 South Carolina on Friday before
falling to No. 1-ranked Florida, 4-0, on Sunday.

This weekend's double-header will begin at 10 a.m. against Boston
University. Play will continue at 4 p.m. against Troy. All matches will
be held at the Yarbrough Tennis Center and admission will be free.
