Deadly infections in Alabama hospitals

March 29, 2011

A quick note to be watching at 6 tonight.

A big story from the Health Department...19 cases of a bacterial infection in state hospitals have killed 6 patients.  One local hospital is among those with the infectious outbreak.

A Montgomery murder from 1979 back in the news tonight.  We'll tell you how hi-tech investigation tools led to an alleged killer in a case you may remember.

And, will jail cells fill to overflowing after a round of layoffs within the state court system?  One county sheriff is predicting just that.

Hope you're with us from the beginning.  Lots of stories to share with you in about 15 minutes or less!

See you at 6.
