Nick Saban to throw out first pitch at baseball game

TUSCALOOSA, AL. - Alabama head football coach Nick Saban will throw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Southeastern Conference series opener between the No. 21-ranked Alabama baseball team and No. 13-ranked Arkansas on Friday night at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

Saban guided the football team to their 13th National Championship in 2009 following a perfect 14-0 campaign. After the Tide posted a 10-3 record in 2010, Saban has a 43-11 record in his four years at the Capstone.

The Crimson Tide and Razorbacks will meet at 6:35 p.m. at Sewell-Thomas Stadium on Friday night, for the first of a three-game SEC series. Tickets will be available at the Sewell-Thomas Stadium box office beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for youth (12 and under).
