Chicken Dressing

One whole chicken or hen

One large onion finely diced

Two cans cream of celery

Two cans cream of mushroom

Two stalks of celery finely diced

Poultry seasoning




Salt and pepper to taste

Boil chicken. When chicken is half done, add celery and onion. Cool and de-bone chicken.

Cook a pone of cornbread. Cool and crumble finely.

Mix all ingredients together using the broth from the chicken boiling to achieve a mixture about the consistency of cornbread batter.

Season with salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning.

Bake at 350 degrees for about one hour.
