Shooting suspect sought.

Thursday - April 7, 2011

Hope you've had a good Thursday...hang on the weekend's almost here.

A shooting in front of several hundred middle schoolers in Montgomery had them and their parents worried and upset.  Seems as though somebody shot a 15 year old near Bellingrath Middle...just up the street from WSFA 12 News.  The teenager's going to be OK.  We'll tell you about two people detained for questioning in the incident.

More information released about the deadly triple shooting in Opelika at Southern Union Community College.  The suspect, Thomas May,  appeared in court to hear the charges against him.  He's accused of shooting his estranged wife, her mother and 92-year old grandmother.  May's mother-in-law died from the shot that struck her.

And, in Wetumpka, when it rains it pours...stinky sewage, that is...oozing out on people's lawns.  Now the EPA is involved.  And, the fix could cost the city a cool million bucks.

Plus, its opening night for the Montgomery Biscuits.  We're live for the post game...and an emotional "first pitch" ceremony featuring injured Montgomery Police officer Dave Brown.

Hope you'll choose to watch...coming up in less than 20 minutes from the time this hits your email box.

See you then.
