The Auburn University at Montgomery baseball team climbed two spots and now sit tied for No. 15 in the third edition of the 2011 NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, which the NAIA announced Tuesday.
The Senators, who currently stand at 32-15 overall, earned 350 total points, up from 318 last week.
Lee University, who was voted second in the previous two polls, moved to the top spot, tallying 14 first-place votes and 641 points. Embry-Riddle (Fla.) climbed up to second with a pair of first-place votes for 625 points, while the previously top-ranked Oklahoma City came in at No. 3 with seven first-place votes and 623 points. California Baptist moved to No. 4, while LSU Shreveport (La.) rounded out the top five.
The Southern States Athletic Conference remains in the lead with five teams ranked in the poll. Joining the Senators and Lee were Brewton-Parker (No.8), Faulkner (No. 20), Southern Poly (No. 22) and Belhaven (No. 24). Shorter was also listed among others receiving votes.
AUM will return to action on Friday, April 15 when it takes on Mobile at 2 p.m., in Mobile, Ala.
