The Auburn University Football team is planning a trip to Washington, D.C. where they'll be honored for their 2010 BCS National Championship win.

The event is scheduled for 10:00am on Friday, April 29 at the White House.

President Obama will welcome the team and honor their perfect season. Following the ceremony, Coach Gene Chizik and the Tigers are scheduled to take part in a Let's Move! South Lawn Series Youth Football Clinic on the South Lawn of the White House.

The Auburn Tigers pulled off an undefeated season, capped by an SEC Championship win over the South Carolina Gamecocks in Atlanta, Georgia and a BCS National Championship win over the Oregon Ducks in Glendale, Arizona.

The win was Auburn's second national championship, the first coming in 1957.
