Praying for storm victims; Fallen police officers remembered

More counties are added to the list of those considered disaster areas.  Tornado victims living in Perry and Clark counties are now eligible for federal assistance.   The addition brings the number of counties to 41.  
Meanwhile today several people gathered on the steps of the state capital to pray, some specifically for our tornado victims.  Today is National Day of Prayer.
Officers killed in the line of duty were remembered in Montgomery during the city's annual Memorial Service. Officers say its a chance to recognize their sacrifice in service to others.
President Obama laid a wreath today at New York's ground zero.  The President visited with firefighters, police officers and family members of those killed on 9/11.  His visit comes just days after the death of Osama Bin Laden.
