Brandi's Baked Beans

Recipe from Brandi Sutherland of Knoxville, Tenn.

1 large can Bush's Original baked beans
1 can kidney beans
1 lb ground beef (turkey, chicken, sausage OK)
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1/3 cup BBQ sauce
1 Tbsp mustard
6 Strips thick cut bacon (regular bacon OK)

Brown and drain ground beef.  Crisp bacon.  Mix ALL ingredients in crock pot or slow cooker and cook for several hours (4-6)

This is a great fall or winter comfort food and is easy to prepare the night before.  Place in fridge and put in cooker before the events of the day. When you come home, the sweet smell of home cooking and warmth fills the air. My family likes this as a side to ham, or as a main dish like a soup. I hope ya'll like it too.

In Italian, the word "gelato" means "frozen" more than it means "ice cream." So, for as much as we have heard that gelato is the Italian equivalent of ice cream, this "gelato" is really a frozen mousse

So, for as much as we have heard that gelato is the Italian equivalent of ice cream, this "gelato" is really a frozen mousse of a dessert. Quick and easy, with no ice cream maker needed, this dessert may be served as a chilled mousse or frozen completely as a "gelato."

Celebrate warm weather with nature's sweet berries. Simply served with a light dusting of powdered sugar, this dessert is not a sugar overload, because it relies on the natural sweetness of in-season berries.

Here is smoky and slightly spicy twist on fried catfish. Instead of coating the catfish in a thick beer batter, I marinate the raw pieces in beer before seasoning them and lightly dredging them in flour
