Trojans take on FAMU

Troy makes its final mid-week road trip of the season on Tuesday as the Trojans visit Florida A&M for a 5 p.m. CST first pitch.

The Trojans (34-14) are coming off their first-ever series win over Louisiana-Lafayette over the weekend at Riddle-Pace Field, while FAMU (17-35) dropped a series over the weekend to Norfolk State in Tallahassee.

William Teal gets the start on the mound for the Trojans. He is 2-0 this season in a pair of starts, including a victory over the Rattlers back on March 15 in Troy.

Seven different pitchers saw action in a pre-determined staff day against Florida A&M in March as the Trojans picked up a 15-4 win. Blake Martz and Tyler Hannah each had three RBI as Troy rolled.

First pitch on Tuesday evening is set for 5 p.m. CST. Barry McKnight will call all the action from Moore-Kittles Field beginning at 4:45 p.m. on WTBF 94.7-FM in Troy and online. There will be no video feed of the game available.
