The Beach Boys and John Stamos

Members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Beach Boys, and actor/musician John Stamos visited neighborhoods and people impacted by the tornado outbreak. They are going to perform at the Huntsville Hospital Foundation's annual fundraising event tonight. If you want to feel some Good Vibrations or have Fun Fun Fun then Tickets are still available! You can find more information about the event on our website.

The cleanup in Phil Campbell hit a snag as heavy downpours stopped all outdoor efforts by volunteers in Phil Campbell today. Nick Lough was at the volunteer center today where people took on tasks indoors. Donations got sorted and storm victims were able to stock up on supplies. And good news for students in Phil Campbell… prom will be held tonight in Rusellville. Margo Gray will bring you a report from the prom tonight.

A hotel manager is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries tonight after a shooting this morning. Police responded to the InTown Suites in Huntsville where they say Calvin Leatherwood shot the employee in the hotel office and took off. Officers took Leatherwood into custody about 30 minutes after the shooting at Oakwood University. Trang Do will have an update on the victim's condition tonight.

Do you suffer from a phobia? You aren't alone. I talked with a woman who is overcoming her phobia through counseling and other treatment. Join us at 10 tonight for my special report, "Phobias." I talked to a Huntsville psychologist to discover what's the difference between a phobia and fear.  We take a journey with a woman who know from experience that phobias can be treated.

Brad says this weekend looks cloudy and damp with scattered showers. He says it will also be a little cooler than normal. Join us tonight at 5, 6 and 10 for your complete forecast.

See you at 5,
Mark Thornhill
